Russian Pilots are Performing Night Flights by Helicopters over Armenia’s Mountains
Southern Military District servicemen launched flights at night hours in Armenia over the mountainous areas by their Mi-8MT helicopters, RIA Novosti reported, making reference to the press service of Southern Military District.
“During the exercise the pilots will develop skills for night flights 1.5-4 thousand meters above the sea level and will perform reconnaissance to reveal positions of the conventional enemy. Air base instructors will pay particular attention to teaching the young pilots to orientate through devices,” the press release reads.
The military training will last for a month.
