The Presidential Administration of Armenia informs the official motto and logo of Pope Francis’s visit to Armenia has been confirmed. The motto is – “Visit to the First Christian country”.

An Azerbaijani “SILKWAY” AN-12 cargo plane crashed on May 18 during take-off in Afghanistan. 7 crew members died during the crash.

May 19 is the 100th anniversary of the Greek genocide of the Ottoman Empire (Pontic Genocide). Representatives of the Greek community of Armenia, several National Assembly MPs, representatives of the Armenian police and Ministry of Emergency Situations visited Tsitsernakaberd Memorial Complex to respect the memory of the victims of the Greek genocide.
