Armenia’s Sky Open for “Armenia” Company: the Airline Obtains a Certificate
“Armenia” airline has already obtained a certificate from RA Ministry of Economy. Anna Chobanyan, Head of the Department of Civil Aviation Policy and Economic Regulation, told about this 168.am.
““Armenia” has obtained a certificate by the Ministry of Economy, which means, it may already launch trade transfers,” Chobanyan said.
She stated that there are companies, which have applied to the Ministry, and currently works are being implemented, so that they were able to submit complete package of the application.
After declaring “Air Armenia” Company bankrupt, the court, however approved the recovery plan, hasn’t submitted an application to the Ministry yet for a certificate. A.Chobanyan stated even if the airline formerly possessed a certificate, it’s the same, it should mandatorily apply for the permit now.
Note, programs of “Armenia” airline are clear; regular flights are planned to launch on April 21 to Moscow, Tel Aviv.
Situation with “Air Armenia” is still indefinite: Sirakan Hambardzumyan, marketing manager of the Company, after approval of recovery project by the Court of General Jurisdiction of First Instance of Kentron and Nork-Marash Administrative Districts, announced that debts will be repaid, then it’s planned to hire planes, and to all probabilities, they’ll re-launch flights in summer. 49% shareholder of the Company—East Prospect Faund was obliged to settle investment issues.
