Former Ambassador follows the developments, moreover, he comments on news and analysis on his Twitter microblog. In an interview with us, Kauzlarich stated that he has no explanation why the tragic fighting exploded after the meetings of Aliyev and Sargsyan in Washington DC. According to him, the sides should stop looking for external causes.
“The responsibility for this tragic fighting falls on the political authorities in Baku and Yerevan. For stopping the fighting Yerevan and Baku turn to international actors. This does not make sense,” Richard D.Kauzlarich said. In his conviction, they should stop blaming the Minsk Group for the failure of Baku and Yerevan to negotiate seriously.
