Medvedev Heard but didn’t Reply to Questions Referring Weaponry Sales to Azerbaijan

“Nagorno-Karabakh war may have tragic implications,” Dmitri Medvedev, RF Prime Minister, said at the joint press conference with Hovik Abrahamyan, RA Prime Minister.

He informed that situation in NKR has been discussed with his ally, and, in the evening it will be touched upon with RA president. In his words, the situation is full of dangerous risks.

“The importance of the ceasefire was stressed, the 1994 truce maintenance and strengthening, and the exclusively peaceful settlement within the OSCE Minsk group. It’s important that the ceasefire was maintained and the conflict is settled by political process, through diplomats, not armed forces, so that people don’t lose their lives. Russia is ready to use its influence for the political settlement of the conflict, within the OSCE Minsk group, so that the escalation of the conflict is excluded, as it’s full of dangerous risks,” Medvedev said.

Moreover, due to tough behavior of security officers of RF Prime Minister, all questions by the reporters  didn’t get their answers, however, the PM heard some questions referring to weaponry sold to Azerbaijan by Russia.
