First Lady of Armenia Visited the Wounded as a Result of Shelling of the Adversary

First Lady of Armenia Rita Sargsyan together with a group of women visited Artsakh today. They have been in the Central Hospital of Stepanakert, Republican Hospital and “Arevik” children’s hospital to familiarize with the treatment process of the wounded as a result of shelling of the adversary.

During the visit First Lady Rita Sargsyan entered all the hospital rooms, got acquainted with health conditions of the patients, said sympathizing and encouraging words, kissed foreheads of the wounded soldiers.

In an interview with press speaker of Artsakhpress, Zori Saghyan, head of Central Hospital of Stepanakert, stated that health condition of the patients is “satisfactory.”

Amalya Karapetyan, supporter of “Aragil” Charitable fund, teacher of the Armenian history at Komitas State Conservatory of Yerevan, told 168.am that she has lots of friends in Artsakh and she’d always been proud of people in Artsakh. “These days we couldn’t be indifferent either. Our desire was to come to Artsakh, at least to console them with warm words and smiles. Meanwhile our good-looking and brave young men pass their energy and encourage us. To my question, what they needed, none of them expressed a desire for support. We’re all proud by our unification,” A.Karapetyan said, adding gladly, “these days, 30 children have been born in Artsakh world. This means, life goes on, and Artsakh’s future will always be in reliable hands.”

Rudolf Grigoryan, a soldier from Hadrut region, Azokh village, who has been wounded from fire of the adversary, thanked the staff for care and stressed that he and other soldiers have especially been encouraged by the tenderness and sincerity of the First Lady, “She passed new energy and endurance to us, promising in case of having the fourth child in the family, she’ll donate an apartment,” R.Grigoryan said.

Zaven Avanesyan, young head of the community of Mataghis, who has also been wounded while providing defence and security of the village, thanked the staff of the Republican Hospital, and particularly said, “I’m proud and thankful to my Armenian people, that is able to become one fist in these difficult days, ready to defend its land till the last drop of the blood.”
