This Guinness Record is Dedicated to Blessed Memory of Brave Soldiers: Roman Sahradyan

Today Vardan Tovmasyan, President of the extraordinary physical activities committee (“The Book of Epic Heroes”), and Roman Sahradyan, Guinness record-holder told the reporters about the exercise “big turn back” 45 times in a minute, due to which he was set a Guinness world record.

“This record is based on number of turns, 1001 turns in 36 minutes uninterrupted, although Guinness committee fixed they were done in 30 minutes. Such a data hasn’t been recorded in Guinness world record book before. I devote this victory to brave soldiers fallen at the four-day war, in particular, in blessed memory of Rafik Hakobyan, as well as to Armenian young men on the frontline at the moment. Glory to our brave soldiers,” Roman Sahradyan said with pride.

Vardan Tovmasyan characterized Roman Sahradyan as a young veteran of the Armenian “Book of Epic Heroes,”

“Roman, besides lots of records set in the “Book of Epic Heroes,” also has two Guinness world records. The exercise performed by him, turn by one hand, was among the hardest ones. Besides, this was a great opportunity, to once again speak of ourselves globally, to show the strength and achievement of the Armenian, for which I congratulate to all of us. Our achievements have no ending, and everybody should know of this.

Touching upon the implications of the four-day war and their work against this background Vardan Tovmasyan highlighted one fact,

“We’ve already been to the Military hospital, where I delivered volumes of “Book of Epic Heroes” to our brave soldiers. I asked them to pay more attention to its content, where names of brave 13 soldiers, who set records, are included in the book, and one of them is a Guinness world record-holder.

Bayandur, who has been deprived of one leg, is included in the book. He reached the top of Ararat Mountain. Another soldier—Stepanyan, who has been deprived of one leg and one hand, set a record as well. I expressed hope that life doesn’t end in this. I don’t say they should mandatorily become epic heroes, however, each of them should continue struggle and reach their goals.”

Note, the document, proving  Roman Sahradyan’s record, is already in Armenia.
