Agents of Baku in Yerevan
Intergovernmental Council of Eurasian Economic Union (EEU) was launched in Yerevan yesterday, participants of which were the prime ministers of EEU member countries, including Dmitri Medvedev, RF Prime Minister. The session was held as usual, without any extraordinary development, statement, boycott. During the session numerous statements have been made on importance of EEU, the necessity to strengthen that structure and other useless things.
In case, when such a statement, at least by diplomatic formulations should have been made by Armenia and in name of Armenia, it should have been made for the sake of justice, dignity and memory of Armenian soldiers fallen during the April war days. As this was the session, which was to be launched on April 8 in Yerevan, however, it was held in Moscow, as upon the claim of Azerbaijan’s ally Kazakhstan and Russia’s silent consent, the EEU heads refused to leave for Yerevan, as a sign of solidarity to Azerbaijan.
It was EEU’s another gift for Azerbaijan, which Russia intended to make an EEU member country at any price, from which, as Russians confess—at the price of Nagorno-Karabakh. After all this, for the sake of Azerbaijan, after moving the session planned in Yerevan, and again held in Yerevan a month later, Armenia doe’’t reflect by any way, any speech, on what occurred month ago. As before organizing this session in Yerevan at a high level, Armenia participated in the session launched a few days later from April 8 in Moscow (instead of Yerevan). It participated and again didn’t reflect in any way to the slightly said, offensive step taken towards Armenia for Azerbaijan. The April four-day war showed that EEU for Armenia, in fact, is a hostile structure.
Not only for the reason that the majority of EEU member countries are Azerbaijan’s strategic allies, but also in that structure our strategic ally doesn’t discriminate the means of making Azerbaijan an EEU member country.
The April war showed, that Nagorno-Karabakh for Russia is a subject for trade bargain around involving Azerbaijan in EEU, and for bombing which Russia also sells heavy armaments to that country. Yesterday the session of a structure was held in Yerevan, for the membership to which the April war was developed, and due to which more than hundred Armenian soldiers died. They have fallen just a month ago, during the war, due to which EEU heads boycotted Yerevan, not to offend Baku.
