It’s not yet Time Touching upon any Document: Edward Nalbandian on Aliyev-Sargsyan Meeting to be Held in June
A document, which is prepared to sign between Armenia and Azerbaijan, cannot yet exist. Edward Nalbandian, RA Minister of Foreign Affairs, told this during his report on Thursday’s joint session of the National Assembly committees, and regarding the “performance” of the 2015 State Budget of Armenia, answering to the question of Naira Zohrabyan, head of PAP faction, what rational element is available in the news that probably an accord may be reached between the sides in the meeting to be launched in June.
Nalbandian noted that the arrangements of the Karabakh conflict parties are those publicized in the trilateral statement. He said this statement did not become five-sided, since Azerbaijan refused to join it. The Minister stated that the next phase of the talks will take place in June, but their venue is yet unknown. He added that conditions are needed to resume negotiations.
“It’s not yet time touching upon any document to resume talks. Those meetings tend to develop directions and principles of negotiations,” the Minister said.
