Russian Weapon Continues Shooting from Talish to Sari Tagh
“We already live in different Armenia,” “After the occurrences, first and foremost, the authorities will draw conclusions,” “The occurrence sobered everyone”…these and likewise pathetic expressions were heard after the April four-day war. They were heard mainly from Government or ruling group representatives. They were heard to justify and hide the uncovered criminality, that for years the authorities, which sank Armenia “for the sake of Karabakh” have sunk the state to a degree and in a way, that the army remained without bullets, and the available armaments were those of “the 80s.”
They were heard to veil the agreements. External and internal. Agreements on conceding and maintaining. And the authorities, maintained for a few hundreds of hectares, returning to their “normality,” started to live with the same—former regime, which is the regime of not the state, but a guild, not state governance system, but that of “thieves’ budget” regime.
And in that regime July 17 was to be recorded. As in case of existence of the state “July 17” couldn’t occur. It could, but if occurred, that wouldn’t become a parade of national glorification and awakening of hopes, but would be considered a step directed against the state. However, as there didn’t or doesn’t exist any state, that would be qualified as a liberation struggle.
State isn’t the coat of arms, the flag and officials standing under that flag and reading texts. In social perception the state either exists or no. A state can’t exist in case, when it’s being turned into an object. State is a state with its subjectivity. Armenia hasn’t been a subject long ago, nether in the world, international relations, nor, moreover, for the society. That liaison is dialectical and organic. The one not perceived as a subject by the society, can’t be a subject by other societies as the one recognized as a subject of expression of personal rights in the union of countries, in the world.
And when the one appearing under the name of the state, in fact, isn’t the state with internal and external content, happens what has happened on July 17. And which is more scary, justification and glorification of the implementers of the occurrence is being recorded. as when the idea, activities and in the long run, the weapon is directed against those, who are anti-heroes for the majority of the society, the occurrence is becoming approximately a heroic novel with all its attributes. This is the phenomenon of “Sasa Tsrer.”
Sensuality, pathos, which was accompanying that process from all sides was only a component of glorification. Surely, a crucial component. The component dulling rationality. Equally from both sides. In the fight of heroes and anti-heroes sensuality makes the society an amateur of those fighting against anti-heroes. Sensuality among the anti-heroes, the authorities is more dangerous, as being packed with senseless formulations on “state,” “statehood,” in fact, generates fear first, and then retaliation.
Until July 31 those comprising part of the authorities and their adjacent masses were living in fear, instinctive fear regime. On August 1 the fear was turned into retaliation…
Like after the April war, today also the pro-authorities touch upon the necessity of “learning lessons,” “drawing conclusions.”
Lessons will be learned like after the April war, i.e. they won’t be learned. As the following step will be equal to a suicide. As the authorities, for those possessing the power, has been equated to life. For that very reason fight for the authorities has been equated to life-and-death struggle, during which it’s being expressed through a weapon as well. Mainly of Russian production. Like the armaments shooting during the April war.
Russian armaments are being positioned against Armenia both from outside and inside. Defense both on the border and in Yerevan’s streets is being realized through a Russian weapon, naturally, in its direct and figurative meanings. As, on the whole, for Russia it’s the same from which side Armenia, with at least minor chances of becoming a statehood, is being shot—from Talish or Sari Tagh?
As loyalty of power placeholders, accelerating loss of statehood, is important for Russia, which from time to time is being tested with patriotic acts organized by the more loyal.
Yes, we’re living in different Armenia. Armenia, which is becoming different every time. After the April war, July 17 and August 1 Armenia became more different. Little is left that Armenia was possessed by someone different.
Long live Armenia-Russia centuries-old friendship!
