An Improper Step and another “Sasna Tsrer” will Seize New Buildings: Vadim Dubnov
“Activity of “Sasna Tsrer” group in football language, was a yellow card for Armenia’s authorities,” Vadim Dubnov, Russian political analyst, told 168.am, touching upon the two-week developments. He stated that time has come to draw conclusions.
According to Dubnov, after the Yerevan developments, Armenia’s authorities should exclusively draw practical conclusions.
“I think all the technologies, which Armenia’s authorities planned to apply regarding moving the leader from one chair to another, should be reviewed, as one senseless, improper step, and another “Sasna Tsrer” group will start seizing new buildings, the same will be repeated, maybe with even “deep colors,” as the occurrence—seizure of the police precinct, was a precedent, which, if necessary, will be easily repeated. Thus, in my conviction, the authorities should take this fact into consideration and build its political priorities on these new lessons, reviewing its all technological approaches.
Thus, here the issue isn’t reviewing budget, economic policy, but that of technologies of the authorities. Proper approach in relations with Russia should be developed, new technologies should be developed in Karabakh situation, and everything currently should be quickly reviewed, as the occurrence, in football language, was a yellow card for Armenia’s authorities,” Vadim Dubnov said.
According to the latter, reforms initiated by Armenia’s president Serzh Sargsyan for moving the power chair, weren’t reforms, but a technology. In his assessment, it’s dangerous for the time being.
“If we touch upon serious reforms, frankly speaking, I don’t believe, that they’re possible under incumbent authorities and in near future. I don’t think either, that authorities, alternative to Sargsyan, will be able to implement reforms. I don’t observe reformers, who could assume the leadership. Thus, the issue of reforms is in a row,” Russian analyst said.
Vadim Dubnov also reflected to the issue what conclusions should the Russian side draw, to which the armed group also sent a message, regarding fight against Armenia’s decolonization. Dubnov stated that he wouldn’t attempt to dramatize statements by the group leaders, as “decolonization” was rather surprisingly and accidentally circulated, and generally, political line of the group is rather chaotic, illogical.
“Russia won’t seriously review its policy towards Armenia, as it simply won’t attempt to dramatize the situation.
When I say Armenia’s authorities should implement reforms, they should do it not in relations with Russia, but in serving those relations, as relations won’t change, it’s the ground of technologies for Armenia’s authorities, although I don’t believe that any figure may be found, even Robert Kocharyan, although I don’t believe his return, or any other person, who would be able to change that technology of the authorities.
Thus, I don’t consider that the occurrence in Yerevan was a turning point for Russia,” Vadim Dubnov said.
