What Happened to Armenian Mobile Phones?

Judging from official statistical data production of Armenian mobile phones and tablets has been suspended.

Thus, pursuant these data in the period of January-July of ongoing year 696 tablets and 450 mobile phones have been produced in Armenia.

The same indices have been introduced for January-June, i.e. the numbers show, that tablets and mobile phones haven’t been produced in Armenia throughout July.

696 tablets and 200mobile phones have been produced in the period of January-May 2016, i.e. the number of produced tablets hasn’t changed since June, and the number of mobile phones increased by 250.

It should be noted, that only one company in Armenia produces tablets and mobile phones—Technology and Science Dynamics.

On June 6 it launched first Armenian smartphones—the Armphone.
