Prices for vehicles, imported to Armenia, have dropped
Overland, air and water transportation means amounting USD 95 million 577.3 thousand have been imported to Armenia in the period of January-August 2016. Pursuant data issued by National Statistical Service (NSS) as compared to the same period of the previous year total of transportation means, imported to Armenia, has reduced by 22%. In the period of January-August the index comprised about USD 122 million 594.6 thousand.
Total share of overland, air and water transportation means comprised about 5%.
In the period of January-August 2016 vehicles, equipment and mechanisms amounting USD 275 million 173.6 thousand have been imported to Armenia, which as compared to the same period of the previous year, has grown by 4.3%.
Share of vehicles, equipment and mechanisms in Armenia’s import structure comprised about 13.8%.
