“Erdogan Pasha, Never Again” – Cher watched the movie on Armenian Genocide
Famous singer Cher, known as the Goddess of Pop – born Cherilyn Sarkisian – has watched the movie on the Armenian Genocide “The Promise” and shortly afterwards tweeted : “This night I’ve seen “The Promise.” It is the true story of how the Turks slaughtered 1.5 million Armenians in 1915. Erdogan Pasha, Never Again.”
The Promise is a historical drama directed by Terry George and starring Christian Bale and Oscar Isaac, set during the Armenian Genocide years. The film debuted on 11th September in the Toronto Film Festival.
