Serviceman found dead in military post
The military investigative department of the Investigative Committee of Armenia launched a criminal case on the death of serviceman Shavarsh Galstyan, the Investigative Committee informed.
On January 25, at 08:50 the body of Private Shavarsh Galstyan was discovered in the territory of an unspecified military position of the Defense Ministry. The body had a gunshot wound to the jaw.
A criminal case has been initiated on hazing-related suicide prompting.
An investigation is underway to determine the circumstances which led to the incident.
