Trump orders ban on refugees coming from Muslim-majority countries
Donald Trump is set to sign an executive order temporarily banning refugees coming to the USA from countries which are predominately Muslim, the Express reports.
He said in December 2015: “Donald J. Trump is calling for a total and complete shutdown of Muslims entering the United States until our country’s representatives can figure out what is going on.”
He later said: “It will be lifted, this [proposed] ban, when and as a nation we’re in a position to properly and perfectly screen these people coming into our country.”
