Zuckerberg came out against Trump’s executive orders on immigration policy

President Trump has signed a number of executive actions on immigration that have put Facebook founder and CEO Mark Zuckerberg on edge.

Zuckerberg on Friday posted a fairly lengthy message on his social media platform voicing his concerns.

Zuckerberg injected personal details and pathos into the post. He claims his wife Priscilla, whose parents comes from China and Vietnam, wouldn’t be with him today if we’d turned refugees away just a few decades ago. He states his opinions on the matter of immigration without room for interpretation.

“We should also keep our doors open to refugees and those who need help,” he wrote. “That’s who we are.”

The entrepreneur specifically laments Trump’s wish to expand the reach of law enforcement, which Zuck believes would cause millions of undocumented folks who don’t pose a threat to live in fear of deportation.

A notable passage gives Trump some credit, “he’s going to ‘work something out’ for Dreamers—immigrants who were brought to this country at a young age by their parents.”
