Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Vardan Bichakhchyan receive best player and best coach of the year awards
The Football Federation of Armenia bestowed the best player and best coach of the year awards. Due to busy schedule in the clubs, the players were unable to arrive to Armenia till now to receive their awards.
At the awarding ceremony in the Football Academy, Henrikh Mkhitaryan was awarded with the Golden Football for the 6th consecutive and 7th total time.
Midfielder of the Portuguese Maritimu Gevorg Ghazaryan was the second, and Greece’s Xanthi footballer Marcos Pizelli was the third. As reported earlier, the best coach of the year award was bestowed to Shirak FC boss Vardan Bichakhchyan.
Currently the National Football Team of Armenia is training for the upcoming March 26 match versus Kazakhstan.
