Kazakhstan football team’s airplane returns to Yerevan 1.5 hours into flight for emergency landing as gear malfunctions
The Kazakhstani national football team’s return flight from Yerevan was scheduled on March 27 at 00:30, however it took off at 1:13, operated by the Russian Severstal airlines.
During the flight the crew found out the plane had landing gear malfunction, and the aircraft returned to Yerevan’s Zvartnots airport at 2:46 for safety concerns, the general department of civil aviation told adding the Kazakshtan national team’s flight is scheduled today at 16:00.
The national football team of Kazakhstan had arrived in Armenia for a World Cup 2018 qualifier. The Armenian national team defeated Kazakhstan 2:0.
