Our preferred Mayoral candidate is Taron Margaryan: Unity of Georgian-Armenians
The “Unity of Georgian-Armenians” Compatriot Union will endorse the Republican Party for the upcoming Yerevan City Council election, co-chair of the union RPA lawmaker Tatchat Vardapetyan told reporters.
“Our preferred Mayoral candidate is Taron Margaryan. We have unanimously decided to vote for him. Perhaps there might be people inside the union who have other political views, but overall the opinions are so similar that they can be labeled as unanimous,” he said.
The Yerevan City Council election will be held on May 14.
