Armenian soldier shot dead: Investigative Committee
An Armenian soldier has been shot in the morning of May 10 in a military base. The soldier, Gagik Mesropyan, died as he was being rushed to the hospital.
The Investigative Committee told according to initial information the soldier was wounded as result of a negligent gunfire discharge of a co-serviceman, due to violation of safety precautions of handling a firearm.
A criminal case has been launched in the military investigative committee.
An investigation is underway.
