Azerbaijani forces violate ceasefire, fire mortar at Artsakh posts
The Defense Ministry of Artsakh Republic told the Azerbaijani side made over 80 ceasefire violations across the Artsakh-Azerbaijan line of contact. The Ministry issued a statement which says:
“On May 21 and overnight May 22 the Azerbaijani side violated the ceasefire regime over 80 times by firing more than 750 shots from various caliber small arms at the Armenian positions in the Artsakh-Azerbaijan line of contact.
In addition, the Azerbaijani forces fired also 60 mm mortar (4 shells) at the northern direction of the line of contact. The Artsakh Defense Army forces mainly refrained from taking countermeasures and continue condently conducting the military service.”
