Cooperation programs between Armenia and Iran come into life: Ambassador
Thank to the joint works done by Armenia and Iran in the recent years new windows for cooperation have opened in various spheres, Ambassador of Iran to Armenia Seyyed Kazem Sajjad told the reporters on May 23 in the sidelines of the meeting of Armenian and Iranian Ministers of Agriculture, adding that both countries actively work to present each other their opportunities.
“I see the visit of the Iranian Minister of Agriculture to Armenia as a good sign for developing cooperation between the two states. In many spheres cooperation between Armenia and Iran moves from paper to reality.
I have to mention that by the efforts of the Presidents of both countries visa regime was eliminated due to which tourist inow to Armenia has increased. It will lead to increase of investments and development of trade and economic relations between the two countries,” Seyyed Kazem Sajjad said.
According to Iranian Agriculture Jihad Minister Mahmoud Hojjati, political relations between the two states are on a high level, while the cultural links between the two peoples date centuries back.
“There are excellent opportunities for economic cooperation between the two states. I hope in the future we will witness growth in trade turnover and the two peoples will feel the great achievements in those spheres,” Mahmoud Hojjati said.
