Yerevan resident sustained bodily injuries incompatible with life during argument in his house; suspect arrested

In the result of necessary investigatory actions conducted in the Investigative Division of Arabkir administrative district of Yerevan Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee circumstances of death of Yerevan resident K. Aghababyan were found, the person having committed the alleged crime was identified, the latter was arrested.

Pursuant to initial data, the man sustained the heavy bodily injuries incompatible with life during the argument in his house. The incident took place on March 3 at about 21:00, the victim K. Aghababyan, born in 1953, argued over personal relations with a man, born in 1968, during which the latter hit K. Aghababyan on his head and face inflicting heavy bodily injury. As a result, K. Aghababyan died of bodily injuries he had sustained.

A criminal case was initiated in the Investigative Division of Arabkir administrative district of Yerevan Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee according to the Point 14 of the Part 2 of the Article 112 of RA Criminal Code.

Inspection of the site was conducted, forensic medical examination was commissioned, confrontation was conducted. The suspect was found and arrested.

Preliminary investigation is ongoing, necessary investigatory and other procedural actions are conducted to provide the comprehensive, complete and objective investigation of circumstances of the case.
