Murder in Sevan; suspect arrested
On March 18 a call was received from a resident of Sevan informing that on March 17 at about 14:00 her father Gurgen Nersesov, born in 1961, left the house to go to Sevan town hall and did not return.
A criminal case was initiated in Sevan Investigative Division of the RA IC Gegharkunik Regional Investigative Department according to the Part 1 of the Article 104 of RA Criminal Code.
In the result of investigatory actions and operative-intelligence measures it was found that Gurgen Nersesov had become a murder victim. The motive was also found and the person having committed the alleged crime was identified.
A fellow-citizen of the victim, born in 1975, was arrested on suspicion of committing the crime. Preliminary investigation is ongoing.
Note; Everyone charged with alleged crime offence shall be presumed innocent until proved guilty according to law.
