ARF highlights need for reasonable timing of snap elections

Leader of the ARF parliamentary faction Armen Rustamyan attaches importance to organizing the snap elctions in Armenia within a reasonable period of time.

Speaking to reporters in the parliament, Rustamyan said that all issues must be solved through the path outlined by the Consitution.

“The snap elections must also be adopted through the constitutionally outlined provisions. That is, the time periods must be reasonable and we must be able to solve this issue together.”

According to Rustamyan, the results of the snap elections shouldn’t cause doubt for anyone. He also commented on his meeting with Nikol Pashinyan, mentioning that their faction doesn’t have any principled difference with the opposition leader’s stance in terms of content.

“We are speaking about directions of foreign and domestic policies of principled significance for Armenia. It is inspiring that no serious disagreements exist from this perspective”, he said.
