Ararat Mirzoyan, MP of the Yelk faction of the Armenian Parliament, introduced the priorities of Yelk faction head, PM candidate Nikol Pashinyan, as well as his biography during the debate of the election of the Prime Minister in the Parliament on May 1.
“Regardless of what opinion and stance each of us will have, as MP and as a faction, the main goal of all of us is the country’s stability, security and the people’s welfare” – Speaker of Parliament Ara Babloyan said at the beginning of the ongoing extraordinary sitting of the Armenian parliament, where MPs are debating the election of Prime Minister.
Gagik Tsarukyan, head of the Tsarukyan faction of the Armenian Parliament, assures that he hasn’t put forward preconditions for supporting Nikol Pashinyan’s candidacy for the Prime Minister, no issue of portfolios has been discussed.
The defense ministry of Artsakh has released a statement saying that once again Azerbaijani mobilization and movement of manpower and military equipment is seen in the line of contact.
The HHK(ruling party) faction will not obstruct the PM election sitting of the parliament, and quorum will be ensured, HHK faction leader Vahram Baghdasaryan told reporters.
