During the defensive combat on October 1, private Arsen Seryozha Margaryan, the unit’s rifleman-AD operator, displayed cold-bloodedness and professional prowess. While tracking the flights of enemy aircraft on bombing mission overhead the defensive area, he calculated the flight parameters of the targets and with surgical fires shot down two Su-25 ground attack warplanes from his “IGLA” MANPAD.
