“Shushi is a stage of war, we can say a battlefield“: Davit Babayan

The situation in Artsakh remains the same, the fighting continues in different directions,- said Davit Babayan, Advisor on Foreign Relations to the President of the Artsakh Republic, in an interview with 168.am.

Davit Babayan stressed: “Shushi is a stage of war, we can say it is a battlefield. And Stepanakert is being shelled, once again it was shelled minutes ago. Our people hit 1-2 unmanned aerial vehicles. In other words, the general situation is like this, active military operations are underway.”

Touching upon the false information spread by the President of Azerbaijan that Shushi is under the control of Azerbaijan and its influence, Davit Babayan noted that Aliev’s propaganda is, first of all, to strengthen its own population and suppress the Armenian side: “We are at war today, and in the war zone, therefore, his false propaganda has no effect on the Armenian side,” Davit Babayan concluded.
