Artur Danielyan: “Government has decided to debit EUR 5,000,000 in cash, knowing most government officials, I can say they will try to take the money and leave the country”

Leader of “Adekvad” Union Artur Danielyan has stated that yesterday the Government of the Republic of Armenia took more unprecedented steps and made another decision for which there was no justification. “Upon its decision, the Government has debited EUR 5,000,000, and the Office of the Prime Minister has given a check so that government officials can receive the funds in cash from the Central Bank. This has surprised many people, some of whom even got worried, thinking that the Government is planning to provide the EUR 5,000,000 to the mercenaries who have to take actions against people on the streets of Yerevan,” Artur Danielyan said.

Danielyan stated that he personally knows most of those government officials and that it is safe to say that they will try to take as much money as they can and leave the country.

“Our ultimate goal must be to make sure they are not able to leave the territory of the Republic of Armenia easily,” Danielyan said.

Danielyan also stated that the guilty need to be sentenced and that this needs to go down in the history of the Armenian people as the first precedent for restoration of justice.
