Tigran Sarukhanyan: “If Armenia loses Syunik Province, the Armenian people will be completely destroyed in the Caucasus”

During the “Pressing” show, Satik Seyranyan sat down for an interview with Berlin-based Armenian historian, international relations specialist Tigran Sarukhanyan.

Sarukhanyan is certain that the existence of Pashinyan’s government is dangerous and that Armenia is at risk of being on the verge of extermination. Due to Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan’s “course of foreign policy that was full of trials and tribulations, Azerbaijan achieved its major goal” that it had been dreaming of for years.

Sarukhanyan considers Nikol Pashinyan ‘a Turkish-American agent’ and has said the following about him:

“The Turkish-American agent has not fulfilled and could not fulfill any promise made to the Armenian people. He was brought to power for an unequivocally different purpose, and the purpose was to prevent Armenia’s integration into Russia and deliver Turkey to the East (the Turkish world), the opportunity to gain an overland route.”

“Throughout these past two and a half years, Pashinyan and his team have implemented the plans of Turkey and the United States,” the historian-international relations specialist says.

As for Turkey, according to Sarukhanyan, it has not renounced its plans for Pan-Turkism, and Armenia’s small mistake may be cataclysmic for the country.

“Thanks to the unsound and anti-national policy that the incumbent authorities of the Republic of Armenia have been leading for the past two and a half years, Azerbaijan restored the borders of the USSR, but this is to the detriment of Armenia,” the historian, international relations specialist says and adds the following: “Thanks to Nikol Pashinyan’s venturesome statements, we Armenians imposed a war on ourselves that was in the favor of Azerbaijan.”
