Rescue burnt people immediately!
There are hundreds of injured and casualties as a result of a powerful explosion that took place in the fuel tank near Stepanakert hours ago for unknown reasons.
Due to the recent war operations in Nagorno-Karabakh, the systems of emergency situations, rescue service, emergency medical aid are overloaded, they work without fuel, medicine and sufficient number of necessary specialists.
According to the alarming information received from Stepanakert, it is physically impossible to even transport hundreds of wounded to medical facilities due to the burns they got.
Conventional medical care cannot actually save these people.
At the moment, the only tangible possibility is the delivery of immediate medical aid by the International Committee of the Red Cross, various UN humanitarian agencies, by air via helicopters. Only in this way is it possible to quickly deliver injured people with severe burns to RA medical institutions as a result of the catastrophic explosion that happened today.
The Red Cross and other specialized humanitarian organizations have the necessary rapid response professional teams, logistical and professional capacities for such situations.
We call, we ask, we demand all decision-makers, political leaders and political figures, intellectuals and influential people in the world to rise above political, geopolitical interests and calculations and immediately ensure the help and transportation of people burnt in the fire.
Delay may cost lives for Artsakh, which has already suffered incalculable human losses in recent days.
