The Security Council of Armenia is holding an extraordinary session which has been planned in advance chaired by Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan.

During the period from October 6 to 12 the Azerbaijani forces violated the ceasefire regime in the Artsakh-Azerbaijan line of contact more than 90 times by firing nearly 700 shots from various caliber weapons at the Armenian positions.
Armenian President Armen Sarkissian signed a decree according to which Armenia’s Ambassador to Sweden Alexander Arzumanyan has been concurrently appointed as Ambassador to Iceland (residence in Stockholm).
Today early in the morning Pashinyan met with President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov in Ashgabat. The Turkmen President welcomed the Armenian PM and highlighted his visit in the context of discussing the prospects to deepen the bilateral and multilateral relations.
