April 24, 1915 has become one of the most tragic and bloody pages of our millennia-old history. In those April days the Ottoman Turkey launched a monstrous plan aimed at complete extermination of the Armenian people, annihilation of our historic homeland, cultural and spiritual values.
The material, cultural, and political losses of the Armenian nation are immeasurable; however the greatest loss were the people – bearers of the ancient, rich, and unique civilization.

On April 18 and overnight April 19 the Azerbaijani side violated the ceasefire regime more than 55 times by firing over 760 shots from various caliber small arms at the Armenian positions in the Artsakh-Azerbaijan line of contact.
On April 17 and overnight April 18 the Azerbaijani side violated the ceasefire regime over 55 times by firing more than 640 shots from various caliber small arms at the Armenian positions in the ArtsakhAzerbaijan line of contact, the Defense Ministry of Artsakh Republic told.
“The Defense Army forces refrained from taking countermeasures and confidently continued their service,” the Defense Ministry said in a statement.
