“On April 28 and overnight April 29 the Azerbaijani side violated the ceasefire regime over 35 times by firing more than 350 shots from various small arms at the Armenian positions in the Artsakh-Azerbaijan line of contact. In the southern direction of the line of contact the Azerbaijani forces fired also 60 mm mortar (3 shells) and automatic grenade launcher (2 grenades).
During the meeting discussions on the advancement of the Nagorno-Karabakh negotiation process were continued. The necessity of implementing the agreements reached at the summits in Vienna and St.Petersburg, held in May and June 2016, was emphasized.

On April 26 and overnight April 27 the Azerbaijani forces violated the ceasefire regime 45 times by firing more than 350 shots from various caliber small arms at the Armenian positions in the Artsakh-Azerbaijan line of contact.
“Armenia welcomes the adoption of resolution by the Czech Parliament’s Chamber of Deputies on condemning and recognizing the Armenian Genocide and other crimes against humanity.”
Armenia’s defense minister appointed Sona Gharibyan as his chief advisor, the defense ministry told.
On April 25 and overnight April 26 the Azerbaijani side violated the ceasefire regime over 55 times by firing more than 650 shots from various caliber small arms at the Armenian positions in the Artsakh-Azerbaijan line of contact.
“The Defense Ministry of the Republic of Artsakh shares the grief of the loss and expresses solidarity with the family members, relatives and peer serviceman of the killed soldier,” reads the statement issued by the Defense Army.
A junior sergeant of the same base, A. Sargsyan, violated safety precautions while handling his service weapon and accidentally discharged a round, which hit Hakobyan in the head. The junior sergeant has been remanded in custody.
On April 24 and overnight April 25 the Azerbaijani forces violated the ceasefire regime more than 50 times by firing over 800 shots from various caliber weapons at the Armenian positions in the Artsakh-Azerbaijan line of contact.
