Yerevan is Leading the List of most Comfortable Cities in the Region

Yerevan was included in the list of “Mercer 2016 Quality of Living”. As ”Armenpress” reports, among 230 cities Yerevan was ranked 182nd.

At the top of the list are Vienna (Austria), Zurich (Switzerland), Oakland (New Zealand), Munich (Germany), Vancouver (Canada), Dusseldorf (Germany), Frankfurt (Germany), Geneva (Switzerland), Copenhagen (Denmark) and Sydney (Australia).
Neighboring cities are ranked as follows. Tbilisi -188th, Baku – 197th, Tehran – 203rd.Turkey’s capital Ankara is not included in the list, while Istanbul is ranked 122nd.Russian capital Moscow is ranked 167th and the U.S capital Washington 51st.
Baghdad is ranked 230th.

Over the past 18 years “Mercer” has been conducting similar rankings according to several criteria, such as healthcare, education, crime rates, political stability, transportation, ecology.
