AMD 8 mln to all Orphanage Graduates from “Tashir” Charity Foundation

40 graduates 2015-16 from Armenia’s all orphanages were donated total AMD 8 million by “Tashir” Charity Foundation.

Every year ten thousands of young people graduate from the school. They are quite different, both as individuals and by social origin, as well as by the way they have chosen. However, there are children, who are similar at least by one point. They are from orphanages, children, childhood planet of whose wasn’t so pure, as that of thousands of peers. Thus, after graduation future of many of them is, unfortunately, vague and, first of all, they need support from any of us. That’s why for already 9 years upon the initiative of the family of Karapetyans bank accounts have been opened for all the alumni of Armenia’s orphanages, to which salary of NA MP Karen Karapetyan is being equally distributed on the bank accounts. At the end of the academic year, certain amount is supplemented by “Tashir” Charity Foundation.

The alumni received their money in “Tashir street” café. Representatives of the Foundation stated that the program, which is being implemented for years, pursues the purpose to support the young people, which besides the financial point, has psychological importance as well, as they realize that they have supporter like Karapetyans, and they are not alone with the difficulties of life.
