“Noah’s Ark” Presented to Pope Francis will be Permanently Installed in Vatican

Michael Aram, world-famous Armenian-American designer, is the author of the sculpture of Noah’s Ark.

Note, Noah’s Ark was presented to the Pope on behalf of the Armenian people and will be permanently installed at the Vatican.

“It was such an honor to have created the “Noah’s Ark” sculpture for Pope Francis,” Michael Aram wrote on his Facebook page.

“As I made the piece, I was imagining the refugee children the Pope would be meeting as they would each come up to the Ark with water and soil from their home country… and that the piece would be symbolic in some way of their salvation and life in a new land,” he wrote.
