Russia Likes when its Bread in Soaked in Blood: it should Dip its Bread in the Blood of Armenian Soldier and then Eat: Azat Arshakyan
Lyudmila Sargsyan, member of ANC faction, is of the opinion that Armenia can’t influence on selling armaments to Azerbaijan by Russia in any way. She stated at today’s press conference that it’s big policy, Russia is an armaments producing country, and in her words, it attempts to maintain its influence through armaments in this or that region, “Of course, it bothers us very much, however, we need to take into consideration, that we deal with a superpower, which has its interests in the region and it’s not satisfied with Armenia’s friendship only. Indisputably Russia has interests in Azerbaijan and to protect its interests it’ll continue selling armaments to Azerbaijan, which, naturally, will shoot on Armenian direction at a moment proper for Azerbaijan.”
According to the MP if Russia doesn’t keep Azerbaiajn in its zone of influence, It’ll be assumed by Turkey, and in that case Armenia and Artsakh will be more endangered, “Russia attempts to have Azerbaijan as a friend, staying in friendly ties with Armenia as well.”
Azat Arshakyan, former MP, disagreed with L.Sargsyan. “We can confront, we can compete, withstand and win. We sometimes underestimate our possibilities. We have the same opinion about ourselves as our adversaries. Our compatriots choose an easy way and say bad things. We can have a military-industrial complex, we can produce competitive armaments: for this we need to have authorities with a political will.”
In his words, we should choose the security system, which coincides with our interests, “Presently CSTO interests don’t coincide with those of our country. All the participants have other interests, they’re even anti-Armenian. For instance, in 2012 Russia updated Lenin-Ataturk alliance of 1921. Russia is back to its imperialist programs and considers Armenia a precious state. That’s why it returned to the 1921 alliance, as in 1991 that alliance was almost annulled, as Armenia’s independence deprived Russia and Turkey of the right to settle Armenia’s issues.
A.Arshakyn stated that upon 16 March 1921 agreement Armenian people aren’t free, Armenia’s borders may be violated and currently Russia is back to that, “Russia doesn’t have an ally, we’re not its allies. And it provides armaments to our adversary for two reasons: first, it’s obliged, as according to the agreement with Turkey it should guarantee immunity of its shaped borders, i.e. it should hand Karabakh to Azerbaiajn. Second, it likes, when its bread is soaked in blood. Russia should dip its bread in the blood of the Armenian soldier, and then eat it.”
Lyudmila Sargsyan claimed that Azat Arshakyan is calling for hatred, “I hate neither Russia, nor the West, not for the reason, that I admire their policy, but I realize what interests each superpower has in our region.”
Azat Arshakyan continued, “Russians shot me, and there is a splinter of Russian weapon in me. I like the one, who shots me.”
