Jirair Sefilian Proposed a Third Variant to the Settlement—One Person was Set Free to Launch its Discussion: Varuzhan Avetisyan
Varuzhan Avetisyan, Deputy Head of Founding Parliament, who’s in the territory of Armenian police patrol regiment headquarters, told 168.am, that the night was calm, and they don’t have information on negotiations,
“We only know that Jirair Sefilian proposed a third variant to the settlement, which is being discussed, and on which I can’t provide details. We have no information yet at which phase the negotiations are and which agreement has been reached. One person was set free upon the offer of Mr. Sefilian, as manifestation of goodwill, to launch discussion of the third variant offered by him.”
To the question whether discussion of the offered third variant presupposed freeing others as well, he replied,
“Probably this’ll be continuous, time will show. We are not busy taking hostages, we’re implementing political activity, and it’s the most extreme variant of political activity. In this country authority is possessed and despotism was established, it’s impossible to confirm people’s will in any other way, and the people have the right to take a weapon, destroy those possessing the authority and reconfirm their will and power. We are doing it.”
To the question how they treat criticism, he replied,
“All the powers and individuals, who introduce us as terrorists, criminals and etc., they are either members of criminal cooperation between those possessing power of Armenian people or are subject to people’s judgment and punishment by law. Time will come and they’ll bear that responsibility.”
