NSS Assured Yenigomshyan that Negotiations aren’t Disrupted

Alek Yenigomshyan, member of Founding Parliament and ASALA fighter, stated a while ago on Khorenatsi str. that he received assurance from the National Security Service (NSS), that negotiations between “Sasna Tsrer” armed group and the authorities aren’t disrupted.

According to Yenigomshyan, he was assured a while ago, that negotiations aren’t disrupted.

In this regard, frankly speaking, I’m very content and happy. I need to add one point, if negotiations aren’t disrupted, in this case, it’s anticipated that steps increasing tension and leading to sharpening of the situation from both sides were excluded. In that case it’s clear, who’s the initiator of the steps throughout last 15 hours. Accordingly, I repeat, I want to believe to the assurance, that negotiations aren’t disrupted, but if they’re not disrupted, sharpening shouldn’t be observed as well,” Yenigomshyan said.

To the clarifying question whether he received a call from the authorities, Alek Yenigomshyan replied, “Yes. I’m waiting for restoration of connection with the group members. As for the rest, we’ll see.”

According to the latter, during the telephone conversation, he was only assured that negotiations aren’t disrupted, connection hasn’t been touched upon. However, Yenigomshyan hopes, that the connection will be restored.
