Garnik Isagulyan Uncovers Pages from Alek Yenigomshyan’s Past: Alek Yenigomshyan Attempted to Kill Vahe Gavrash
“Now when members of “Sasna Tsrer” group are keeping the doctors as hostages, I say the following: the men inside are terrorists and after that the state, the authorities, power structures have the right to use any measure to free the hostages,” Garnik Isagulyan, head of “National Security” political party, Advisor of the NKR permanent representation in Armenia, told reporters today.
According to him, from the moment they took doctors hostage, terror has been recorded.
“If those men, who call them rebels, now should hide behind the nurse and medical workers, I don’t know how to qualify those men. And all those outside, who support the terrorists in no way differ from them, and they are terrorists as well,” G.Isagulyan stated.
He introduced some pages from the life of Alek Yenigomshyan, ASALA fighter, member of Founding Parliament.
“As Mr. Yenigomshyan allowed himself to discredit and call a liar my friend (Vitaly Balasanyan), let me introduce two episodes from the life of Mr. Yenigomshyan. In 1980 Mr. Yenigomshyan in Geneva planned a terror act with Syuzi Mahserejyan, the bomb exploded in the hotel room in his hands, as he wrongly switched it. Syuzi was in the room then. Yenigomshyan lost his hand and sight, but Syuzi, who is Monte Melkonian’s sister-in-law, equally has born the punishment with Yenigomshyan. Let him first reply, against who that terror act was organized.
Many have the misconception that it was against the Turkish Embassy or towards anything. Let me say, it doesn’t correspond to the reality. Let him give answer, but I’ll mention the name of one person—Vahe Gavrash—benefactor and philanthropist, who is RA citizen now and helps NKR in many activities. What was found in Mr. Yenigimshyan’s pocket—the project of Turkish Embassy, or that of another man, from whom they claimed money, and the latter refused to give?” G.Isagulyan said.
He stated that those documents are available and may be found at special Swedish services, “Mr. Yenigomshyan, I sympathize you, you are a patriot, but there is no need to lie, especially call the legendary hero a liar, who proved, that he doesn’t lie and if he continued the mediation mission, I’m convinced, the next day the issue would be settled.”
