Index of Armenia’s state debt to exceed 50% in 2016: Atom Janjughazyan

At today’s joint meeting of NA Standing Committees on Economic Affairs, Financial-Credit and Budgetary Affairs during the debates of 2017 Deputy Finance Minister Atom Janjughazyan stated that existence of tariff, structural changes, actual indices of performance in the previous period influenced on the budget.

The Deputy Minister stated that index of Armenia’s state debt will exceed 50% and in 2017 GDP/deficit index shouldn’t exceed 3%.

“We have increase of programs, implemented on account of external means, A.Janjughazyan said adding that they should be more cautious.

He introduced, that for expenditure programs implemented by RA Ministry of Economic Development and Investments AMD 2 billion 649 million is planned to allot in 2017, instead of AMD 2 billion 991 million, approved by the state budget in 2016. Reduction of expenditures towards the respective index of the state budget comprises AMD 342 million or 11.4%.

It’s planned to allot AMD 38 billion 514.8 million regarding energy infrastructures and natural resources, as compared to AMD 32 billion 398 million in 2016. Growth of expenditures in 2016, as compared to the respective index comprises AMD 6 billion 116.8 million or 18.9%.

AMD 49 billion 806.9 million in the fields of transport and communication is planned to allot, as compared to AMD 57 billion 780.6 million in 2016. Reduction of expenditures, as compared to the respective index of state budget 2016, comprises AMD 7 billion 973.7 million or 13.8%.

It’s planned to allot AMD 6 billion 330.9 million for 2017 in urban development, as compared to AMD 9 billion 82.6 million in 2016. Reduction of expenditures comprised around 30%.

Expenditures amounting AMD 3 billion 898.5 million are planned to allot for the state register of real estate, as compared to AMD 4 billion 304.8 million for 2016 or 9.4%.
