Erdogan’s Turkey gradually resembles Azerbaijan: Alexander Iskandaryan

According to political scientist Alexander Iskandaryan developments in the Middle East are evolving rather seriously, “Pursuant circulating news, a coalition of 100 thousand is being established, which will implement military operation in Musol. 4-5 IS militants will function against that coalition.

In his words, Kurdish army will have a serious role in that coalition, “Although that coalition is fragile, they’ll have certain success, everything depends on time.

In his words, Musol isn’t only a serious space, but a source for oil. And for us those developments, according to the political scientist, are crucial by the fact that Iraq isn’t so far from us and besides the issue of establishment of Kurdistan by the Kurdish people, it directly relates to Armenia.

“Interesting dynamics is observed in Syria as well. There seems to be agreement there, as a result of which Turks won’t be against to influence on the activities of Musol as well. There is information that among Kurdish militants who will fight in Musol, Turcomans are found as well. It’s an interesting sign and may mean Turkey’s support,” he said, adding that Turkey’s role increases and Russia-USA contrasts don’t allow to have respective impact on it.

According to the political scientist, Turkey is becoming Azerbaijanized, “Turkey’s governance system gradually resembles Azerbaijan. If the electoral system was more or less effective in the past, now it is no longer so. The recent developments in Turkey (coup attempt, political arrests) show that Erdogan faces no counter power,” Iskandaryan said.
