Imports of “Alex Grig” have decreased, and tax payments—increased: SRC

Yesterday media outlets posed a question to Vardan Harutyunyan, Chairman of State Revenue Committee (SRC), on volume of taxes paid by “Alex Grig” company for the first 9 months of 2016, to which the SRC Chairman promised to provide a speedy response.

In this regard SRC informs that around AMD 6,505,136.2 has been paid to the customs bodies regarding import throughout the first nine months of 2016. In the same period of 2015 they comprised AMD 7,418,339.0, i.e. as a result of import volume decrease less by around AMD 913 million has been paid to the customs bodies.

Regarding payments to the tax bodies, it’s worth taking into consideration that payments made in the period of January-September of ongoing year have increased by AMD 68.0 million. And if we compare indices for ten months, they have increased by AMD 173.5 million.
