Armenia and Turkmenistan facilitate transit cargo shipments to third countries

The Government of Armenia approved the draft memorandum of understanding on plans to further develop the cooperation with Turkmenistan in the transportation sector. Vahan Martirosyan, Minister of Transport, Communication and Information Technologies, said the MoU will enable the two countries to establish a reliable and equal partnership.

“It will contribute to the mutually beneficial cooperation in the transportation field, will provide favorable conditions between the two countries, as well as will facilitate the transit cargo shipments and passenger transportation through the territories of the two states to the third countries,” the Minister said.
