If Azerbaijan again makes adventure attempt, consequences will be much more serious for it: Shavarsh Kocharyan

prove that there is no alternative to the international recognition of the Nagorno Karabakh Republic (NKR), Shavarsh Kocharyan, Armenia’s Deputy Foreign Minister said at the international workshop entitled “The breakthrough of the blockade of Stepanakert: 25 years later”.

“I attach great importance to this workshop since many things are being forgotten and distorted by Azerbaijan’s efforts. Azerbaijan is incompatible with the human rights, the terrorism committed at the state level is obvious. The April war showed that what has started in Sumgait, is its continuous policy.

For so many years they pretended that they are taking part in the negotiation process, this is only an imitation, and at this stage the Co-Chairs have one mission: that is to not allow resumption of military operations. Of course, what Azerbaijan seeks for, is to solve the issue by force and run a genocidal policy against the people of Nagorno Karabakh. It is simply ridiculous that one side, which is not ready to mutual concessions, even leaving aside the NKR, expresses its ambition towards the Republic of Armenia,” the Deputy FM said.

He said the April war also showed that we must always be ready to Azerbaijan’s any adventure. “I believe that if Azerbaijan again makes an attempt, this time the consequences will much more serious for it,” Shavarsh Kocharyan said.
