The Minister clarifies details for leasing of agricultural equipment

Agricultural equipment amounting AMD 2.2 billion will be sold upon the leasing program and around AMD 120 million will be directed to subsidy. Ignati Arakelyan, Minister of Agriculture of Armenia, told reporters today after the Cabinet session.

“Currently we’re discussing the issue of creating a centralized machinery park and providing service to small economies, which don’t have the opportunity to purchase agricultural equipment,” the Minister said.

According to him the wealthy will pay around 20% prepayment and will ground their creditworthiness, will apply to the leasing company, and purchase is being realized, and those with no financial resources will buy service from those possessing tractors with market prices.
