Freedom House writes about Azerbaijani atrocities in its report
Freedom House has referred to the April war of 2016 in its report on Armenia. It notes that despite the fiercest clashes continued for only 4 days, they have left rather deep consequences.
“Azerbaijan’s onslaught against de facto Nagorno Karabakh Republic took place on April 2, becoming the largest in-scale attack since the ceasefire of 1994, causing unprecedented casualties for both sides during 4 days. The territory of the Republic of Armenia was also subjected to attacks for a short period,” the report reads. The incidents of brutal treatment by the Azerbaijani side against civilians and captured soldiers are also emphasized
