Boiko Borisov elected new Prime Minister of Bulgaria

Boiko Borisov, leader of the center-right GERB party that won Bulgaria’s parliamentary elections, became the country’s new Prime Minister, TASS reported.

His candidacy was approved by the parliament through a voting. 133 MPs voted in favor of Borisov, and 100 votes against. Thereafter, the lawmakers supported the Cabinet proposed by Borisov which includes 18 ministers.
